Hey Andrew,
Why is Jamaica such a well kept secret??? The country side is so beautiful that there is hardly words to describe it. Magnificent and majestic was all I could think of as we rode and viewed the famous and breathtaking Blue Mountains.
The ride started out in Albion through Easington, Ramble water, Dam Head, Bethel Hall and Mavis Bank.
After five hours of riding, we pretty much experienced just about everything one can experience in mountain biking as the terrain was quite diverse and challenging.
A community member decided that we were invading his space and greeted us with some very graphic expletives but a certain team Cannondale member gave him a serious tongue lashing as we rode very quickly in the opposite direction. Apart from this, there were no other incidents as we went on our merry way greeting the very friendly folks as we passed along.
Sorry about the lack of scenic photos but as you will have guessed, the objective is riding and its a little difficult keeping up with the guys while documenting but, we'll try to do our best as usual.
Mountain biking apart from being a healthy habit, allows one to view the environment from a whole new perspective which can be quite fascinating. Couple this with a great bunch of guys and gals, a sense of humor and a spirit for adventure and you'll be in heaven.......almost.
