On Sunday morning, Feb 6th, 2004, The hills surrounding the Gap Cafe were filled with echoes of laughter....as the gang converged on this little oasis in Jamaica's winter Paradise.
The mountaineers were out in full force (only Peter M. missing) and Spewmeister (the newest member) joined the pack and it was just sheer unadulterated fun.
The ambiance at the gap was the icing on what could easily be the most fantastic beginning for any new year.
Leaford proved to be a true warrior as he donned the camera and at times rode ahead to photograph the action (crash course paying off) and was still able to ward off the awesome attack from "big gear Johnny.
Don't tell anyone but my motivation was a certain lady who tail gated my rear tyre all the way up and I had to ride like hell to save face. Can you imagine if all the guys got wind of this? Shhhh!!! Dont let out mi secret.
Fellows watch out because the women are secretly training.......do not take them lightly!!!!!
The ride for some of us started in Gordon town and we hooked up with the rest about two miles up.
A cool mountain wind made the proceedings quite pleasant but as we got warmer ascending the temperature got "Kowl"
I know by this, all that missed the ride are drooling and frothing but don't worry, the next ride will be SOON!!!!!!!
